Caen and Nuclear Instruments presented Sci-Compiler at the IEEE NSS-MIC-RTSD 2022 Conference in Milan, Italy.
During the conference we announced a new 64 channels, 16 bit digitizer of the V/DT2740 family and a solutions for large experiments like R5560 and R5560SE with a Rack form factor capable to read-out up to 128 channels.
These new product families are supported by Sci-Compiler and can be used to build large and complex data acquisition systems. We had several visitors in our booth asking for a demo and info about Sci-Compiler.
Thanks to the easiness and use of Sci-Compiler and the versatility of the new Smart KIT DT1260 we were able to show a demo of a complete data acquisition system in a few minutes.
During the conference we presented two talks:
- A. Abba, F. Caponio, A. Cusimano, Y. Venturini: Design of DAQ and processing systems using SciCompiler and Open FPGA platforms
- Y. Venturini, C. Tintori, A. Abba: FERS-5200: a distributed Front-End Readout System for multi-detector arrays
Sci-Compiler and CAEN open-hardware solutions has been proposed as innovative solutions to implement time-critical and high-speed acquisition monitor and control systems.
