This feature is exclusively accessible with a not expired license that includes remote services enabled.

Using Remote Customization Service (RCS), users can effortlessly obtain customized firmware for their boards without the need to acquire, configure, or manage additional resources independently.

Start a build

To start a remote build from Sci-Compiler follow these steps:

  • Open an existing project with Sci-Compiler.
  • Click on the ‘Start remote’ button in the top window menu of Sci-Compiler under ‘Compile’ tab.
  • A popup to create new project version will appear, provide a message for this version.
  • The build will start. If you have enabled notifications, you will receive an email when the build is completed.
  • When the build is successfully finished, a popup to download build artifacts will appear.

Stop a running build

Stop a running build from Sci-Compiler

To stop a running build from Sci-Compiler follow these steps:

  • Click on the ‘Stop remote’ button in the top window menu of Sci-Compiler under ‘Compile’ tab.

  • The remote build process will stop.

Stop a running build from My Sci-Compiler

To stop a build from My Sci-Compiler follow these steps:

  • Open My Sci-Compiler in your web browser and sign in.
  • Navigate to the Projects section in the sidebar menu and select the project for which you want to stop a build.
  • Select the version from the list of versions for which you want to stop a build.
  • Inside the version details page, click on the specific build that you want to stop. This action will open the page with the details of the selected build.
  • Click on the “Stop” button located at the top of the build details section.
  • A popup will appear. Click on “Stop” to confirm that you want to halt the current build.

Delete a build

Follow these steps to delete a running/finished build on My Sci-Compiler:

  • Open the project in My Sci-Compiler.
  • Navigate to the specific project version.
  • Inside the version, locate and open the build you wish to delete.
  • Click on the delete button (the one with the trash bucket icon) located at the top-right corner of the page.
  • This will open a popup, click on “Delete” to confirm that you want to delete the build
